While school mask mandates have been lifted in many states, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) continues to recommend universal indoor masking by students, staff members, faculty, and visitors in kindergarten through grade 12 where COVID-19 cases are high or hospitals are at risk of reaching capacity.
